Dentistry: Improve your dog or cat's health and breath!  Bad teeth can lead to kidney and liver problems, as well as bad breath.  Dental exams are free of charge, and only take a few minutes.

Dental Radiography:  During a dental procedure we are proud to be one of the few practices in Topeka that have the ability to accurately evaluate teeth, root, and bone mass for hidden damage around the roots using a specialized dental radiography machine.

Surgery:  We can provide your pet with a full range of surgical services from emergency surgeries 24 hours a day, to routine operations like spays and neuters.

Laser Surgery:  Using a surgical laser during surgery has several advantages. Lasers help to control bleeding and swelling. They decrease healing time, increase surgical precision, and add to your pet's post-op comfort. Surgeries such as de claws, which used to involve tourniquets, bandage wraps on the feet, and a week of recovery time, no longer need such extraordinary measures. Your cat will be able to walk as soon as it wakes up from surgery.

Senior / Geriatric Blood Testing: Blood testing on our senior patients can help identify problems (if any) that may complicate surgeries, or help the doctors decide on a more appropriate course of treatment for your pet.

Senior / Geriatric Surgery: Many patients needing surgery are in their golden years.  Age should not be a factor in limiting procedures that can enhance the life of your pet.

Med-Rx Imaging: The Med-Rx is a machine that allows us to go inside the ears or down the throat with no incision and look around with its small camera.  This service can help us with diagnosis without invasive surgeries that require long recovery periods.

ECG heart monitoring: Similar to an EKG in human medicine, the ECG provides essential heart monitoring during surgery, to help the doctors maintain safety and comfort for your pet.  The ECG can also detect irregular heartbeats, and murmurs that may be undetectable using only a stethoscope.

Ultrasound:  Ultrasound can help us see problems that may go overlooked otherwise.  The benefits to this are endless and we are proud to be one of the few veterinary clinics in the state that own an ultrasound machine.  With the added benefit of the Internet we can get our ultrasounds interpreted by board-certified specialists within hours rather than weeks at other facilities.

In-House Diagnostic Lab:  Having a state of the art in-house laboratory allows us to run valuable tests prior to every surgery, and accurately diagnose emergency cases.  Because when safety, accuracy, and speed count, our in-house diagnostic lab is invaluable.

Grooming: Although grooming is primarily a cosmetic service, there are health benefits to having your pets groomed.  Hair that is kept clean and short or combed out is not given a chance to get matted; this makes for healthier skin and more comfortable pet. Grooming also helps control shedding, and makes your pet more comfortable all year long.

Veterinary Supervised Care 24 hours a day 7 days a week:  Our veterinarians and staff make several trips each day and night through our kennel rooms to ensure that your pet is doing well, and comfortable.  Veterinarians are available to the staff members who monitor the kennel rooms 24 hours a day 7 days a week to provide treatments and emergency care as needed.

Veterinary Supervised boarding: All dogs are walked three to four times a day by our trained staff and the doctors monitor patient safety and comfort twenty-four hours a day every day.  You are also welcome to bring any toys that would make their stay with us more comfortable and enjoyable.  Bedding will be provided.
